How to format usb storage (flashdisk, sdcard, mmc, etc) on archlinux

If you have usb storage (flash disk, sdcard, mmc, or another media) and want to format it. The easy way is using gparted.



1. Plug in your usb storage media (flash disk, sdcard, mmc, or other media).
2. Run gparted.
3. Choose the usb media (

4. Choose the media (in pic below is on green area), then right click mouse, then choose unmount.

5. Right click again on the media then choose "format to". Choose the preferred file system type.

6. If it's ok, then choose apply.
7. That's it your usb storage media is formated.. :)
